Life Education × STEAM — Viewing Tree Cotton, Understanding Life

Overview

Since this school’s participation in the 'Life Education Journey' tours in 2018 and 2019 organised by EdUHK, the school-based life education, 'Brightening Life Journey' was developed. Through meditation, picture books, exploration activities, VR and AR, etc., students are cultivated to build up positive values and national identity. In addition, the school has joined the 'Programme on Planning Life Education in Primary/ Secondary Schools', which aims at integrating STEAM elements in interdisciplinary life education at all levels. This year, a Primary 3 project 'Viewing Tree Cotton, Understanding Life', a thematic project of combining STEM elements was launched to enhance students' comprehensive ability. With the framework of Life Education: 'Intellectual, Emotional, Volitional and Practical Dimensions', students' caring for the environment and nature are further fostered.
